Terms of sales
1- All products are to be pre-paid before delivery except if explicitly stated otherwise. The invoices covering services are due for payment as soon as the invoices are received excepted if explicitly stated otherwise on the invoices.
2- The accepted payment methods are: direct bank transfers, Paypal payments for verified Paypal users, credit cards payment via Paypal even for non-Paypal members, subject to checking of the credit card by Paypal. Cash-on-delivery (COD) payment via UPS only. COD and Paypal payments are subject to payment fees imposed by the respective companies. These fees are indicated during the online ordering process. For information only: UPS COD amounts to 1% of fees on top of the total invoice with a 15 EUR+21 VAT minimum. Paypal fees are equal to 3.9% on top of the total invoice. Direct bank to bank money transfers are free.
3- The products are covered by a warranty of minimum 1 year. Some products are covered by longer warranties. If this is the case, the longer warranty period is mentionned in the product's description in the online shop. The warranty covers the labour necessary to handle the faulty products. The warranty only covers manufacturing defects or the malfunction of a component during the normal use of the product. Any damage caused by mishandling by the buyer, loss, accidental or voluntary destruction by the buyer or a third-party will not be taken in charge by the warranty. Consumables are not covered by warranties except dead-on-arrival. Some manufacturers take directly in charge the handling of their warranty. This is the case for printers, scanners, notebooks, cameras and other types of products. Contact us for more details regarding specific manufacturers. In case of the repair of an equipment not covered by a warranty, transport, parts, labour and handling will be subject to a price quote.
4- Except if explicitly stated otherwise, all products are shipped via a parcel shipping company which uses a transport warranty and tracking numbers. the risk of transport is on the buyer's side. In case of transport problems, it is up to the buyer to contact the local office of the transporter to manage the delivery with the help of the tracking number.
5- No products can be returned to us without a prior written notice from us, this notice is not an ackowledgment. The transport fees of products with an expired warranty or of products returned without a prior notification and/or for which no technical intervention was justified will be charged to the buyer.
6- In case of the discovery of a malfunction covered by a warranty, we reserve the right to decide whether a product should be exchanged or repaired, based on the type of the defect and the type of product.
7- Delivery delays will not be compensated financially and are not a cause for cancellation whether they are caused by causes beyond control or events susceptible of causing the suspension of the delivery.
8- In case the buyer's credibility is in jeopardy because of events such as failed credit card verification or a Paypal ID warning, we reserve the right, even after the products have been delivered, to request additonal informations from the buyer. A negative answer or an absence of answer woud give us the right to cancel the sale.
9- Complaints about the condition of the delivered products, except transport disputes, will have to be sent to us by letter within 8 days after delivery.
10- Unopened products can be sent back to us for refund if there is an obvious discordance between the nature of the delivered product and the product the buyer expected (ordering error) , only if the parcel is sent back and delivered to us within 8 days after the initial delivery and only following a written agreement from us prior to that.
11- The indicated prices and the level of the stocks follow the conditions of the international markets and are given purely for information. They can be modified at any time without prior notification.
12- The technical specifications of the products can be modified by the manufacturers at any time without prior notification and are communicated for informationn only.
13- In case of dispute, the tribunals of Brussels, Belgium, are solely in charge of the settlement.
